Ralph Lauren's signature Faded Peony collection is created in partnership with Burleigh, the storied English pottery maker renowned for their time-honoured tissue transfer method. The dense floral motif finds inspiration in East Asian block-printed batik fabric and is presented here in the form of an earthenware-crafted teacup and saucer gift set. Details- Includes two teacups and two saucers.
- Finely crafted with earthenware and natural clay.
- Burleigh is the last pottery maker in the world to practice tissue transfer printing, a 250-year-old technique that has been skilfully applied to this custom Ralph Lauren design.
- Tissue transfer printing allows for one colour to be used in each piece, with a gradation of density that creates a richly textural appearance.
- Each teacup measures 8.9 cm H x 10.8 cm W x 7 cm D; 185 ml capacity.
- Each saucer measures 14.6 cm in diameter.
- Dishwasher and microwave safe.
- Made in England.
