The tuxedo jacket first appeared in menswear in the 1800s as an alternative to the tailcoat, and in 1975 Mr Lauren sent his version for women down the runway. The iconic Sawyer builds on this heritage by uniting a stretch-integrated wool crepe, sourced from an Italian mill, with a sleek, structured silhouette accented with authentic details, like a shawl collar, fold-over cuffs and a single-button closure.

Details- Slim fit. Intended to hit at the lower hip.
- US size 8 has a 67.9 cm body length and an 82.6 cm sleeve length. Body length and sleeve length are taken from the centre back of the neck. Sleeve length changes 0.6 cm between sizes.
- Silk-satin-covered shawl collar. Single-button silhouette.
- Long sleeves with four-button fold-over cuffs. Silk-covered buttons. Shoulder pads.
- Left chest welt pocket. Two front waist besom pockets.
- Fully lined.
- Shell: wool, elastane. Lining: cupro, elastane. Decoration: silk.
- Dry clean. Made in Italy.
- Model is 5'10"/178 cm and wears a US size 2.
