The Train 89 modernises Polo's classic '70s-inspired running shoe with contemporary design elements like a TPU heel insert and a substantial sole. Crafted with suede and Oxford, it features leather side stripes detailed with Ralph Lauren's signature Pony.

- Lace-up front.
- Padded mesh insole. TPU-reinforced heel. Canvas tongue.
- Signature Pony woven label on the tongue and embroidery on the side. "Polo" debossed on the heel.
- Mesh lining. Eyestay lined with faux leather.
- EVA midsole. Treaded rubber outsole.
- Upper: leather, polyester, nylon. Lining: polyester, elastane, polyurethane.
